This week in forest school the children made conker models. They used a conkers, clay and natural materials from the forest to create their own model. During our art lesson this week the children worked collaboratively to develop drawings into prints. They had a range of items to print with including polystyrene sheets, leaves, wool, toy cogs and bubble wrap. They could choose to make their work abstract or figurative (something recognisable.)
We created different textures on paper by using a Frottage rubbing technique based on the art work created by artist Max Ernst.
