This half-term, Year 1 have been exploring the art skill of creating 3D forms using paper. During our recent lesson, the children worked collaboratively to design and build a large spider model inspired by Maman by Louise Bourgeois. We used a variety of techniques to turn newspaper and tape into 3D spiders. The activity encouraged creativity, problem solving and teamwork, as the children shared ideas and supported one another to achieve a fantastic final piece. We were so impressed with their resilience and communication throughout the process!
