This week we are reading ‘Little Red Riding Hood’. Today we became bakers and baked non-dairy cupcakes to put in little red riding hood’s picnic basket. We all helped to weigh out and mix ingredients and then decorate our cakes. We then enjoyed eating them! Yummy!
Today we celebrated bonfire night. We learnt about bonfire night traditions and how to be safe around fireworks. We enjoyed getting messy in our firework tuff tray. We explored the explosions of powder paint and foam and created patterns using paint brushes and other tools.
Today, we used forest-mud mixed with water and paintbrushes to create pictures of our families, as this half-term our topic has been ‘All About Me’.
