This week’s art learning involved 3D shapes and making one using a 2D net. The children used cutting, folding and building skills.
Birch class really enjoyed their RE lesson today. They learned about the Easter story and acted out the different parts of it. Some great, very enthusiastic actors in the making!
This week in DT, we have been designing and making a small cushion / key ring. The children have really enjoyed practising using a needle and thread. They have really impressed us with their resilience, their willingness to help each other and not to mention their fantastic sewing skills!
In science, Year 3 have been learning all about rocks, soils and fossils. The children have really enjoyed telling stories through rapping, thinking carefully about rhythm and poetry.
Year 3 were practicing their cutting and peeling skills this morning, using carrots. Perfect timing..Santa must have knew because he came to visit and is taking the carrots away with him for his reindeers!
