Today in RE, we discussed how Christians believe that God created the world and all of the fantastic things you can find in nature. We went down to our forest school area and carried out a nature hunt. We talked about which amazing nature find was our favourite and why.
Today we had a fantastic first forest church session with Reverend Kirsty and Reverend Kirsten. The session was after school and parents joined in too. This week, Year 4 Hawthorn enjoyed their first forest school session. They went down to the forest school area and created flower bombs.
The children enjoyed exploring nature and producing some fantastic art. They found a stick and practised measuring lengths of wool. The children then practised tying knots to fasten the wool onto the stick. The children showed fantastic resilience and didn’t give up. They are going to use their creations as Read more…
This week the children really enjoyed the return of our forest school sessions. They had a fun, and very muddy, afternoon exploring the forest school area. They created their own artwork and found the biggest worm we have ever seen 😄
