Year 3 Birch’s First Week Back!
Year 3 Birch have had so much fun for our first week back. We have made woolly mammoths, read stories, wrote about our hopes and dreams, talked about what is important to us and revised over what we learnt in Year 2.

A fabulous Summer fair with a great turn out.
We explored the properties of 3D shapes using cocktails sticks and marshmallows to help us answer the questions in our power maths book. We made cuboids and square and triangular based pyramids.

We had a fantastic day at Beeston Castle! The children learnt lots of interesting facts about the Stone Age and explored the castle, the round house and caves.
We had lots of fun today taking part in the Great Science Share! Children completed the ‘shaving foam rain cloud’ experiment.
