This week in maths we have been looking at shape. The children have been working to notice simple differences between shapes and to choose shapes for a purpose. In our maths lessons we read the story ‘Whatever Next’. Our activity this week was for the children to choose appropriate shapes and then build a rocket, just like the one in the story. The children were very successful and could explain why they had chosen their shapes.
