This week, Year 5 have enjoyed learning about the artist Claude Monet. We spent time researching the artist to learn lots about him and understand the importance of his art pieces. We learnt about his life as an artist, how he took up the career, and how he was thought to be one of the founders of impressionist art. Later, we then went on to create our own versions of his famous painting ‘Bridge Over a Pond of Water Lillies’. The children have produced some fantastic work this week and should be very proud of themselves. Well done, Year 5 Juniper!
