On Friday evening, some of year 5 visited the AJ Bell stadium as part of a project with Rochdale Hornets. It was a fantastic experience for everyone who went. Firstly, the children took part in a tag rugby tournament with other schools. The played well and persevered despite the rain. They were then lucky enough to be involved in carrying the flags and being mascots for the players. We then watched the England vs Fiji rugby team. The atmosphere was brilliant and the children joining in with cheers. England won 50-0! The behaviour of the children was impeccable. We were very proud.
