Year 4 Hawthorn had an amazing day last Thursday on French day. We started the day with a french breakfast whilst watching a french cartoon. We then looked at where France is and learnt some interesting facts about France. Next week enjoyed learning a French dance. We then went into the immersive room and traveled to Paris looking at lots of famous landmarks. We looked at the Eifel tower and then went back to class to take part in a fun competition! We had to try and make the tallest Eifel tower that we could using spaghetti and marshmallows. In the Afternoon we looked at Van Gogh’s work and were inspired to create our own versions of his art work ‘ Sun flowers’.
