Firstly, we would like to congratulate all of the children who took part in last weeks science experiment – volcano. We were so impressed to see all the images and videos!

This weeks experiment for you to complete at home is called ‘walking rainbow’. This week you will visualise science first hand looking capillary action. As a result of capillary action the water walks up or flows into the empty cup, creating new colours. Fascinating I know!

Follow this link to carry out the experiment – https://www.sciencefun.org/kidszone/experiments/walking-rainbow-color-science-experiment/

Remember to send your videos and images to Mrs Alderson (salderson@stlukesceprimary.co.uk) or Miss Wilde (ewilde@stlukesceprimary.co.uk).
