Year 5 have been continuing their art topic this week on installation art. We recapped what we had learnt about the artist we have been focusing on this half term – Cai Guo Quang. We discussed what installation art is, where it takes place, whether it is permanent or temporary, and why gunpowder may be used to develop some of the creations. We then went into groups and took time to design our creation and get to work on it outside with the paint and glitter. The finished products were fantastic and all of the groups worked really well together! We then added our little Lego people to show the sizing concept of our pieces. Well done, Year 5!
