When we arrived at school this morning, there was a rocket on our school field, which must have landed over night. When we arrived in the classroom we could see on our class screen that we had been sent a special mission. The mission was to plan for building a new society on a distant moon called Utopia. We had to use our essential skills to ensure we were successful in our mission.
We used problem solving skills to decide which four people of varying careers, would first arrive in Utopia, as the original crew have come down with a virus.
We used our creativity skills to design a new animal to live on Utopia that could help with food or transport.
We used our teamwork and adapting skills to create a 3D map of what Utopia would look like.
We used our listening and speaking skills in presenting our 3D maps.
The children have really shown their development of skills today, and are looking forward to seeing if our mission was successful.
