In our recent collective worship assembly, we focused on the theme of self-efficacy and the importance of believing in ourselves.

We explored the story of The Tortoise and the Hare, discussing how the tortoise succeeds by trusting his own abilities and persevering rather than comparing himself to others. This led us to reflect on why self-belief matters and how recognising our strengths can help challenges feel less stressful and more manageable.

We also took part in an activity where we wrote our names on cards and shared positive comments about one another. Reading these kind messages helped us remember our unique strengths and see ourselves through the encouraging eyes of our peers.

The assembly reminded us that with self-belief and perseverance, we can face challenges with confidence and resilience.
