On Friday, Year 4 Hawthorn, had a fantastic time at the library. We were so excited to pick books to take back to school. Once back at school, we enjoyed sitting in our new reading corner and reading our new books. During English lessons, we have been writing letters to David Walliams about reading. Today we came up with some amazing similes about reading to include in our letters. ‘ Reading is like opening a door to a magical world’ and ‘ Reading is like a cosy blanket drifting you off to dream about a magical world’  were just two of our very impressive similes.
