Today, Year 5 Juniper visited Newhouse Academy to carry out some science experiments with Miss Dawson. The children got a coach journey up to Newhouse where they were greeted with Miss Dawson. We then went to one of the science laboratories where the children were given an introduction to what they were going to be doing as well as learning all of their health and safety precautions. The children carried out four different science experiments to create chemical reactions – they created gas, changed colours and even created bad smell! The children thoroughly enjoyed their time at Newhouse and represented St Luke’s brilliantly. Well done, Juniper. You were fantastic!
