In collective worship this week, we talked about self-efficacy, which means believing in ourselves and knowing that we can do things, even when they feel tricky.

We watched the story of The Hare and the Tortoise and talked about what it teaches us. The hare thought he would win because he was fast, but the tortoise kept going and didn’t give up. We learned that believing in yourself and trying your best is more important than rushing or showing off.

We also shared how sometimes we can doubt ourselves or feel unsure. Everyone has moments like that, and it’s okay. What matters is remembering our strengths and not giving up.

To finish, we each wrote down something we are good at. This could be anything from being kind, to reading, to helping others. We joined these together to make a paper chain, showing how all our talents link together and make our school stronger.

This helped us remember how special we all are and how important it is to believe in ourselves
