For our collective worship in class today, we have been looking at self-efficiency.
We discussed self-efficiency, self-belief and belief in others. We spoke about what they are and why they are important to us. We watched a video on The Hare and the Tortoise and spoke about the moral of the story.
We spoke about our strengths and any times that we have had to believe in ourselves. We discussed how we don’t always have to be the best at everything, but trying our best and promoting the skill of perseverance is really important.
We then created a “we can” paper chain in class where each child had a strip of paper and wrote something on that they can each do that they are proud of. Our completed paper chain looks amazing and are very proud to have it displayed in our classroom.
