A big thank you to all of the parents and grandparents that attended our shared learning. It was a big success and the children and adults had a great time. We started our new topic about Human Lifestyle and learnt all about the organs in our body. We then completed a quiz about the heart, stomach, skin and skeleton. The answers were displayed around the hall. When the quizzes were completed the organs were added to an outline of the body and labelled.
As part of our career focus and the Skills Builder curriculum, the children took on the role of detectives, using their problem-solving and teamwork skills to find the correct answers about the human body. This activity helped them to think critically, communicate effectively, and work collaboratively — key skills that will support them in all areas of learning.
