We had a visit from Touchstones museum this morning, who led a workshop all about the Roman’s.
We made vexillum’s, which are flags that were used by the Roman army. We also were able to try on a Roman helmet and hold a sword and a shield that would have been used in battle. They were very heavy!
KS2 were treated to a fantastic performance of The Jungle Book by M&M theatre company. All of the children really enjoyed the show and Year 6 were able to take part in a workshop afterwards. Read more
