To begin our latest art unit, we brought in 5 items that are special to us. These ranged from pictures, toys, teddies, clothing and other interesting items.
Our project involves creating a box to keep the items in, with 4 different pieces of artwork to be created for the faces of the box.
Our first piece was to create a pencil sketch of our items, looking at proportions, compositions and shading to show light and dark. Over the next few days, we will also create pieces of art using charcoal, negatives and paint.
