During our first forest school session, we were able to take part in many activities, including making bird feeders, freeze frames of autumn pictures and finished with trust games. It was very muddy but we had lots of fun!

Year 6 joined the rest of KS2 on a prayer hunt. We took part in various activities across school, focusing on the following themes: Different representations of Jesus Seeds of Peace Prayer for refuge and safety Tree rings The World and Christianity Transforming natural materials into art.

Year 6 looked at how we can best analyse a famous painting. We looked at how artists tell stories or show feelings through their artwork. We interpreted the painting by trying to suggest its meaning, and looked closely to try and identify and notice small details, describing them after sketching.
