This week we have been celebrating black history month by reading the book “I love my hair”. We have been discussing different hair types and how they are all unique and beautiful. We discussed what we love about our own hair, what it looks like and how we look after it. Buttercups had fun exploring the hair braiding table, where they looked through pictures of various hairstyles and browsed books for inspiration. They eagerly searched for different beads, bobbles, and clips to create their own unique hair designs whilst developing their fine motor skills.
