Your child has been actively participating in our Careers Week activities, with a particular focus on engineering. As part of their learning, the class explored the inspiring work of Isatou Ceesay, discussing how innovation and creativity can help solve environmental problems. The children developed their communication skills by completing a range of presentations and oracy tasks, including creating and delivering PowerPoint presentations about engineering. Building on this, they began an exciting design project where they started to plan and create their own gadget that could help collect plastic from the ocean, encouraging them to think like real engineers and environmental problem-solvers. 🌍⚙️
