Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

This half-term the children have been reading ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’ by Roahl Dahl and re-writing their own versions using ‘The Write Stuff’. The children have watched clips of both the old and new film versions of the book to support their ideas before writing various sections such as a Character description of August Gloop and a setting description of ‘The Chocolate room’. The children have created some fantastic pieces of writing using boomtastics and fantastics and wowed Miss Lomax with their imagination. Well done Birch. A fantastic improvement in English this 1/2 term.😊
