This week we have been looking at financial awareness in our maths lessons. In Year 4, our focus has been ‘Beginning Budgets’ and we have been learning about the importance of budgeting effectively, in particular for saving, making smart spending choices and tracking money. We also used some of the skills builder focuses – teamwork and problem solving. The children have really enjoyed completing the different activities and working together to make budgeting decisions.
