Classifying animals

This half term during our science lessons, Year 1 are learning about animals. For our first lesson, we named and classified animals and understood which groups animals belonged too. We learnt new vocabulary such as reptiles, amphibians and mammals. We were already familiar with fish and birds.
the children have also continued their learning in provision by making animals with play doh and continued to categorised animals.
