As part of our English unit on persuasive writing, Year 6 were able to share their letters with and ask questions of Councillor Peter Rush. Councillor Rush has worked in the township for more than two decades and is also a governor at St. Luke’s. He provided us with reasons for and against the points made in our letters, helped us to understand what the council can and cannot do to help solve the parking and traffic problems outside school.
