This week in Year 4, we became food designers as part of Design and Technology lesson on adapting a recipe. Our mission was to explore different types of biscuits, taste and evaluate them, and then use our findings to help us design our own adapted biscuit recipe.
Investigating Existing Products
Before creating our own designs, we needed inspiration! We carefully tasted and evaluated a variety of popular biscuits:

Party Rings
The children were very excited for this part of the lesson! However, we didn’t just eat them — we were food critics!
We looked at appearance, texture, packaging, taste, texture and target audience.
