We have been very busy this half term completing lots of different activities during our Wednesday dinner time club.

First we have been interviewing children about Purple Mash and the use of ICT in school. We were really pleased to hear that lots of children love using Purple Mash and like to use the computers in other lessons as well.

For this half terms challenge we created a PowerPoint for Coding week we then shared this with each class to use. Each class took part in ‘An hour of code’ and they had lots of fun completing the different fun challenges. Please view the computing page blog here to see what activities each class completed.

In addition to this, we helped to type up the lyrics for the KS1 nativity:

As as digital leaders we have also took on the role of computer monitors during assemblies. We have set up a rota so we each get chance to do this role. For each assembly we set calming music to enter and exit, we play songs to sing and we even help teachers with powerpoints.
