This half term we are learning about keeping healthy. In Science we are learning about the different functions of the body and in Design & Technology we are learning about the healthy food plate. For our first lesson in D&T we have been looking at the different food groups: carbohydrates, proteins, fats & sugars, fruit & vegetables, dairy and oils & spread.

We then discussed the career of being a chef and created our own chef hats. We wrote a healthy menu that included a starter, main and dessert making sure each dish was balanced.

We designed a healthy wrap using carbohydrates, protein, vegetables and dairy.
