This afternoon, Year 5 Juniper have started their new Design and Technology unit – Electrical Systems: Doodlers. For today’s lesson, the children looked at the different components that create a simple circuit. They were able to identify crocodile wires, batteries, bulbs and motors. They were able to create their own circuits to light up the bulb and use the motor to get the propeller to rotate. We were able to implement our Skills Builder focuses into our lesson as we did lots of problem solving and teamwork. Well done Year 5!
