This morning we went to the library in heywood, we walked in a line and was very sensible walking together.
When we arrived at the library we met a lady called Debbie, she showed us lots of different soft toys and we sang songs about them. We enjoyed meeting the green little speckled frog and it was our favourite song.
We had lots of fun reading the story ‘Beetle In the bathroom’ and saw different insects in the bathroom. 🐜 🕷 🦟
Debbie showed us a spider she had made at home and gave us the resources to make our own. We are super excited to take our own spiders home and show them to our family and friends.
We have all chosen a book to borrow from the library, we can take this book back to school to read and then return it back to the library.
We are looking forward to our next visit to the library because we love reading stories. 📖 📚
