Over the last few weeks, Year 5 have been working on creating their own games in computing and today became game designers! They have been able to create mazes with golden coins to collect, all whilst avoiding the monsters that will make them lose lives! The children have had to create the full appearance of the game, including floors and skies, before writing a set of instructions to show people what to do. The children were then able to play the games they had designed, before spending some time swapping over to play each others. They then filled in a review sheet to show their likes and dislikes of the game along with a star rating. Juniper have thoroughly enjoyed this topic and have loved creating their own games to play.
