This week in Guided Reading, we began our new book ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’. The children were really excited to begin this story. They have been fantastic at answering prediction, retrieval, inference and grammar questions about the pages they have read so far.
Some children have also been adding to our ‘reading river’ this week. On which, they review books they have read for pleasure and recommend them to other children in the class.
