History- explorers

We have started learning about Christopher Columbus and to see what different items he brought back from ‘The America’s’ we became explorers. We used our different senses to try to work out what he brought back. We used:

• tasting and smelling – pineapple
• touch – a freely bag with potatoes insides
• sight – a photograph of sweetcorn under a microscope
• hearing- turkey: we had to scan a QR code and listen to a sound of a turkey.

We made really good guesses using our different senses and used our skills builder of listening, problem solving and staying positive to help us.
