Today Willows have been learning all about temperature and how to read a thermometer! Mrs Nuttall tested how warm her hands were and demonstrated how the liquid goes up and down based on the temperature. We all went outside in pairs and were very patient waiting for the thermometers to read the temperature in the Year 1 playground. We predicted it would be 12 degrees but the thermometers said it was warmer! Willows then came inside and recorded their findings for Monday. We will do this test at the same time each day to compare the temperature all week.
