To mark the end of our ‘Physical and Chemical Changes’ topic, Juniper have carried out an investigative task which challenged them to free a toy car from a block of ice using pure salt, rock salt and bicarbonate of soda. They had to find out which substance would melt the ice the quickest. Everyone had great fun making predictions, recording results and ‘racing’ to be the first group to release their car from the ice. Well done everyone!
