Year 4 had a very exciting day today. They finally got to meet their friend that they have been speaking to through letters. They were very excited at the start of the day although a little nervous about meeting somebody new. By the end of the day everybody had big smiles on their faces and were excited about the idea of meeting up with their friends again soon.
We had lots of fun watching the amazing show ‘ Sunflowers and sheds’. We also enjoyed playing games, asking our new friends questions and learning all about them as well as finding out things we had in common. We finished the day by creating our own pictures through drama to show our wishes for the world. These included: no more littering the sea, looking after the environment, building more playgrounds for children and for everyone to make good friends.
