To celebrate National Storytelling Week, Year 1 took part in an online workshop with author. Annemarie taught us how to explore the magic of storytelling through music and rythm. As she read through her book ‘I am Nefertiti’ we explored how we could use our bodies to make music to suit the emotions, for example, short and loud sounds for fear.
The children really enjoyed the workshop and have been using the reading area during COOL time to explore how they can use music with other stories.
