We started our new book this week ‘On the way home’. To begin we made predictions about what the story might be about by looking at the picture on the front cover and the title. We had lots of great ideas. We then read the blurb to give us another clue.
In this story there is lots of repetition so the children soon picked up key phases and could join in with the story as it was being read.
After the story we talked about what happened and if any of our predictions were right. We then had lots of fun acting out the story being different characters.

this was fun I remember when I was in this class doing this book it was fun
