During Science lessons we have been looking at the three different types of rocks; Igneous, sedimentary and metamorphic. We started our Science lesson this week by completing a ‘Kahoot’ quiz where we answered questions about what we already know as a recap. We then used chocolate to represent the different rocks and to help us explain the rock cycle. We started off with a mixture of white, dark and light chocolate to represent the sedimentary rocks. We then added heat and pressure to make a metamorphic rock and finally we added heat to make a igneous rock. Well done to our two Scientist who were chosen to wear our lab coats this week for answering lots of questions and being involved in discussions.
