Yesterday some children from year 5 began their journey on a fantastic Science Project involving other Rochdale schools. We have been invited to take part in a programme to work scientifically, undertaking a project in which we have to identify a problem within our local community that can be solved by scientific enquiry. We spent the first session carrying out various experiments which would inspire us to think of a possible project that we might choose. The children each received a lab book in which they can document their work and research. Watch this space to find out what happens next!
