Y1 World Book Day- Raising Aspirations

This week St Luke’s celebrated world book day and careers week, with the theme of ‘raising aspirations’. The children have learnt about a number of careers through videos and books, including the ‘Little People Big Dreams’ books. We used this knowledge to create a careers list poem in our writing. This week reception enjoyed a superhero day. The children dressed up as superheroes and real life superheroes. We had vets, doctors, teachers, nurses and lots more.
