Year 2 were questioned by the Geography lead to see if they could remember key facts from their lessons from Year 1 and 2. They used Santa to show their understanding. They did so well remembering the continents, the oceans and the 4 point compass.
Year 2 have been exploring properties of shapes. In this lesson, children explored reflective symmetry. They learnt to identify shapes and images that had reflective symmetry and identified where the line of symmetry lies. They used mirrors to help them with their work.
