Forest school
Fun in Forest School Year 2
Year 2 had lots of fun in forest school, in the sun. They made a wormery and created some creative habitats to link to our Science topic on Habitats.
Mathematics
Length and Height
In this lesson, children estimated and measured a range of objects, using metres as a unit of measurement. They measured things outside in the playground and around their classrooms. They then went into the hall and measured from one side to the other.

Computing- spreadsheets
We have started our new Computer unit on Spreadsheets. We introduced what spreadsheets look like and used for. We then practised basic skills such as adding number and writing our name. After this we completed some calculations and watched how the spreadsheet worked out the answers.
