This week we are reading the story, ‘The Little Red Hen’. Today, a parcel arrived for Bluebells. The red hen sent us a parcel and a letter. Inside the parcel was all of the ingredients we needed to make some bread. The little red hen was very busy and none of the animals would help him make bread, so the hen asked us to help instead. We followed the recipe for bread and we all worked together to make it. We took it in turns to weigh out the ingredients, mix them and then knead the dough.
The little red hen even saved some for us to try to say thank you for helping him. The bread was delicious!
