Maple have been investigating the River Roch. The children have enjoyed looking through some resources about the river. They have have found that otters have been spotted by the riverbanks, a protected plant species grows there, it played a big role in the cotton industry and that the sport of ‘Bull Baiting’ was carried out by the river.
