In English this morning, we started our new unit which is the book The Whale by Ethan and Vita Murrow. We had an experience lesson where we watched videos and researched information about different types of whales. We were put into focus groups where we created a poster about a specific whale and then we presented the information we had learnt to the rest of the class. This lesson gave us the opportunity to practice some of our Skills Builder targets – teamwork, speaking and listening.
