During science this week, we carried out an investigation to see which materials let light through. We tested different materials at a set distance from a torch. After discussion of their findings, the children sorted the
materials into transparent, translucent and opaque. We then looked at three images connected to light. We had a discussion about their appearance, what they do and where you might find them. We then decided which one was the odd one out.
